Harlan Fields and the Bluegrass Scholars "Students of the Tradition"

"Students of the Tradition" is more than a motto. It truly describes an energetic but experienced group of guys who can sing, play, and put on a stage show in the true tradition of the early days of Bluegrass music. Led by Harlan (Greg) Fields' vocals and guitar playing, the Scholar's music has the sound and feel of authentic 1950's bluegrass. From fast fiddle hoedowns to comedy and novelty numbers, a Scholars show features an entertaining variety guaranteed to satisfy the hunger for uncanned, fresh "real" music.

Take a listen to the sound clips from "String Theory 101" the band's first recorded venture. Don't be afraid to pat your foot.

Thanks for visiting!
